But What Can I Do?

  • Get involved with your local Democratic Town Committee. You can find your local committee Chair by visiting the Belknap County website at www.belknapcountydems.org. Most committees meet once a month on a regular basis, some have the ability to meet both in person and virtually, and a couple DON’T HAVE ACTIVE COMMITTEES! You can change that!
  • Stay informed! Sign up for your local town and county newsletters!
  • Attend a community event! Now more than ever we need to stay connected! We are planning several community events across the county! Check out our Event Calendar page for more information.
  • Does the news cycle have you down? You know you want to do something but don’t know where to start? Donate to the Belknap County Democratic Committee!
  • Donate to your town and county committees! NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL! Just $5 a month pays for an estimated 6000 “impressions” on Youtube. A $10 a month contribution pays for a quarter page ad in the Laconia Daily Sun. If everyone reading this were to donate just $10 a month we would raise OVER FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS! Your contribution will be used to support our local candidates by offering financial support, funding community events, paying for advertising, and  keeping our office doors open which has given us a presence we’ve never before had in Belknap County! Before we know it 2026 will be here. The better prepared we are the more better chance we have at electing Democrats.  DON’T DELAY-DONATE TODAY!

  • Not comfortable putting your name on a letter? Become a ghostwriter for someone else or put your name on a letter someone else has written.
  • Call or write your Representatives (Federal and State) in support or opposition of bills
  • Attend rallies at the State House in support or opposition to bills. There are several organizations that organize rallies on important bills. We can provide you with that information!
