Mass shootings with assault style weapons have been in the news every day this year. Join Moms Against Action on Saturday, May 13th at 11am for a walk from City Hall around downtown to demonstrate our demand for reinstating the assault weapons ban on Saturday, May 13. We’ll help educate folks in our community about how they can take action now and we will have a vigil at the end of the walk to honor those impacted by gun violence.
Four Belknap County Representatives were among a group of New Hampshire GOP State Reps who endorsed former President Trump at his rally in Manchester on April 28th. Moments before the rally, Trump embraced a woman who was charged and served time for the January 6 insurrection, calling her “terrific”. The Belknap Representatives endorsing Trump are Tom Ploszaj (District 1, Center Harbor/New Hampton)Juliette Harvey-Bolia (District 3, Sanbornton, Tilton) Belknap County Delegation Chair Harry Bean (District 6, Gilford, Gilmanton, Laconia Ward 2) Paul Terry (District 7, Alton/Barnstead). Let that sink in. Our Representatives are endorsing an insurrectionist.
